The Commonweal’s 15th Annual Ibsen Festival
Lanesboro, MN: Don't miss the 15th Annual Ibsen Festival, featuring a world premiere adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher of Ibsen’s powerful Pillars of Society. Secrets from the past threaten to engulf a prominent buinessman about to embark on the greatest project of his career. As always, the festival will include lectures, fine art, music, post show discussions and many other events to put this Ibsen’s work into context.
Events include:
- A panel discussion on the 19th century immigrant experience;
- art exhibits from the Minnesota Marine Art Museum and the Lanesboro Art Center;
- traditional European folk and ethnic music concert;
- Sons of Norway spring luncheon and bake sale
- Artisian demonstrations
- Geneaology workshop
