The last person you'd ever expect to see...
A mother and a father grieve the tragic and unexpected loss of their only son. The parents are moved by the support of the community and the people that have turned up to share their loss. After the funeral the parents struggle to build a new life together, until one day there's a knock on the front door.

About Fredrik Brattberg:
Playwright and composer Fredrik Brattberg (b. 1978, Porsgrunn, Norway) made his debut in 2008 at Oslo’s Student Stage with the play It Knocks, Amadeus/Det Banker, Amadeus. He has participated in The Norwegian Playwrights Festival in Oslo twice with Visit at the Hansen Family Half Past Six/Besøk Hos Familien Hansen Halv Syv(2009), a play about prejudice in which a Norwegian family invites a Muslim to dinner, and again in 2011 with his dark comedy The Returning/Tilbakekomstene, for which he was rewarded the Gledesglasset prize by the Writers Guild of Norway (Dramatikerforbundet). In the summer of 2011, Brattberg participated in Festival of New European Playwrights in Copenhagen with The Returning\Tilbakekomstene. His newest play Monsemann was recently performed at the prestigious Dramatikkens Hus theater in Oslo.
