About the MOLAF
The Museum of Longing and Failure is solely dedicated to the exhibition and collection of small sculptural works that embody notions of longing and failure. Through collaborations with contemporary artists and collectives, The MOLAF seeks to expand the visual terrain of its thematic concern.
Founded in 2010 and primarily based in Bergen, Norway (manifesting from time to time in faraway places), the museum is cared for by Bergen‐based artists Andrew Taggart & Chloe Lewis.
The MOLAF is grateful to the City of Bergen, the Norwegian Arts Council, the Norwegian Visual Artists' Association, and the Factory for Art and Design (Copenhagen) for their support.
