Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway states, "[Norway Today] represents ... what Norway is all about — her culture, her welcoming natural beauty, her storied past, and her vibrant present."

The magazine focuses on the culture, history, and important societal traits of Norway, as well as Norway as a destination. The editorial and sharp visual design emphasize the contemporary, strategic, and innovative cultural and political aspects of Norway, including support of the arts, early adoption of gender equality, and its leadership position in sustainable development and the High North.

Norway Today is also available in a print version. The digital publication includes all the information contained in the print version plus hyperlinks, photo galleries, audio, video and embedded social media that provide an interactive experience.
