This year’s Transatlantic Science Week is called "Shared Solutions to Common Challenges: and will focus on four major themes: International Security, Cyber Security, Safety and Emergency Preparedness as well as Educational Policy and Educational Research — a wide span of timely and important issues across the Atlantic.

The annual Transatlantic Science Week will be hosted in Houston, November 12-16, with Rice University and MD Anderson Cancer Center as the main venues. The TSW12 website is now operational, and registration has begun.

The 10th Transatlantic Science Week will take place on October 25–27, 2011. The purpose of the conference is to stimulate collaboration between North America and Norway in the fields of research, higher education, innovation, technology and knowledge-based business development
