Gro Harlem Brundtland Receives the Woods Hole Research Center’s Lawrence S. Huntington Environmental Prize

2/11/2013 // The Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC) recently named Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister of Norway, as the 2013 recipient of the Lawrence S. Huntington Environmental Prize. The prize recognizes leaders who advance and promote research and communication on climate, earth sciences, and conservation. Prize recipients recognize the interrelationships of global systems and think on a planetary scale. The award ceremony was held at the New York Yacht Club on February 7, 2013.
