Panel discussion on domestic violence

2/26/2013 // Monday March 4 the Norwegian Minister of Gender Equality, Ïnga Marte Thorkildsen, participated in a panel on domestic violence against women and girls. The debate took place at the Core Club in New York City, and can be watched in full length in this article.

Norway and Half the Sky Movement invited to a panel discussion on effective prevention methods and a conversation on the next steps in the movement to end domestic violence.

Often, women and girls are most in danger where they should be the safest: inside their homes and with their families. Domestic violence is a global phenomenon. How can we end it? Which preventive measures are the most effective?
