Two of the world’s foremost universities, UC Berkeley and Stanford University, are hosting this year’s event.
The theme this year is: Innovation Frontiers — in Energy, ICT, Education, Marine and Space Science.
The conference will be followed by a day of site visits to selected companies in Silicon Valley on October 28, 2011.
Transatlantic Science Week is an arena for contact and commitment. The main target groups are leaders in universities and research organizations, NGOs, ministries and private enterprises. The conference will showcase ongoing scientific collaborations and present science at a high level where the potential for future collaboration is evident. Broad and lively policy discussions are an integral part of this forum.
