3/6/2007 :: Trolls! Trolls! Trolls! Boo! Listen to a Nordic troll story to inspire you in the creation of your own troll made out of leftover wood pieces and other objects from the Education closet! Trolls! Trolls! Trolls! will take place on Saturday, October 14 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the Nordic Heritage Museum and is appropriate for children five and older (parents stay with children). Bring a box to carry home your troll! Cost is $4 per child for members, $6 per child for non-members. Reservations are required – call the museum at (206) 789-5707. Class will be canceled if minimum enrollment isn’t met.
The Nordic Heritage Museum gives visitors a glimpse of the ways Scandinavian immigrants helped shape the new world. “The Dream of America” exhibit is an interactive path that traces the journey of a Nordic immigrant from Scandinavia to Ellis Island, and into the American frontier. The Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM; Sundays 12PM-4PM. Admission: $6.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and college students, $4.00 students K-12, children 5 and under free.
