Bergen Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall: Win Tickets!

The Norwegian Consulate General in New York gives you the chance to win two tickets to Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's premier event at their U.S. Tour, the November 6 concert at Carnegie Hall

11/2/2007 :: The Orchestra is one of the world's oldest, with a history of more than 240 years. The U.S Tour this year is dedicated to Bergen's greatest musical son, Edvard Grieg, whose centennial we celebrate this year.

All you have to do to win is answer one simple question about the orchestra:

Who was artistic director of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from 1880 to 1882?

a) Andrew Litton
b) Edvard Grieg
c) Erling Dahl

Send your answer to msi@mfa.no. Two winners will be randomly drawn from the correct submissions on November 5 and contacted by email. They will each win two tickets to the concert on November 6 at 8pm.

Entrants will also receive the Consulate's newsletter detailing Norwegian events in New York once a month.
