Initiated in 1957, the orchestra wishes to give their young and talented musicians and conductors an opportunity to lead and instruct an orchestra and to perform in front of an audience. Leif Ove Andsnes will conduct and play the piano. January 12-18.
1/17/2006 :: Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes was the youngest and first from Scandinavia to be rewarded with the prestigious Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall. He returns for new performances with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
