Norwegian rock act Magic Pie will play at the fourth annaual Rites of Spring festival in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania as they prepare to release their new album "Circus of Life"
4/24/2007 :: Circus of Life follows Magic Pie's 2005 debut Motions of Desire, which received rave reviews in prog-magazines all over the world, with Music Street Journal hailing the band as "True Anthropologist to this genre".
Their album also received a score of 5 out of 5 in ProgressiveWorld, with the magazine claiming that Magic Pie has "all the flavor without all the sugar".
The common factor as the link between all members is the mutual love for listening to bands and artists that have been the mainstream rock trend in both the '80's and '90's, and of course the fact that the great musical "revolution" of the '70's is firmly seated within all as no less than a fantastic source of inspiration.
The Rites of Spring festival is currently sold out, exept for the warmup on friday, April 27, but if you are lucky enough to have a ticket, you'll be in for a real treat.
When: Sunday, April 29, Magic Pie plays from 5.00pm to 7.00pm
