The young, yet much accomplished Norwegian classical pianist Natalia Strelechenko is sure to mezmerize everyone at Carnegie Hall this September with her magnificent talent, performing works by Grøndahl and Liszt.

8/17/2007 :: After studies with Kaleria Sandovskaya, Strelchenko made her concert debut with the St. Petersburg Conservatory orchestra at the age of 13 and studied at the Conservatory from 1995 to 2000 with Professor Alexander Sandler. In 2001 she began studies with Professor Einar Henning Smebye at the Norwegian State Academy of Music and graduated in 2004. She has performed in the United States, Holland, England, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Russia. Critics throughout Europe have acclaimed her brilliant technique, combined with a powerful and breathtaking musicality.

At Weill Recital Hall, she will perform works by the female Norwegian composer Agathe Backer Grøndahl, as well as "Trancendental Etudes" by Grøndahl's teacher from Weimar, Franz Liszt.
