Norwegian artist Anne Katrine Senstad has investigated light and color through her photographs since 1997. Now you can see works from “The Pink Project” at the inaugural exhibition at GalleryNine5 in New York.

Anne Katrine Senstad lives in New York and Oslo, and has exhibited widely internationally, including in Sao Paulo, New York, and Oslo, Norway. She investigates light, color and sounds by photographing pure light sources and their environmental behavioral patterns. “The Pink Project” is all about the phenomenon of color and light – as Senstad moves towards a light and color landcape relating to reductive space.

Senstad has several U.S. projects going on this year. Her Site Specific installation, "The Light House" will be shown in New Orleans Dec 8 2007 - March 2008, with KK Projects. She has also been invited by KK Projects to create a Landart piece in New Orleans, part of a major Louisiana Landart exhibition. At the same time, Senstad is working on a new book project, entitled “Norwegian Women.” The book will function as a part two of “The Norwegians”, that was released in 2005.

You want more color? Senstad will also be showing new works from “The Neon Project” at GalleryNine5 on a later date. Check back for more information, and go enjoy the pink!
