Young New York Runners Visit Norway

With May being arguably the most beautiful month of all in Oslo, five young runners from New York City chose a great time to visit Norway. The runners participated in races and met, perhaps, one of the greatest stars in the running world.

7/2/2007 :: The runners flew to Oslo as part of an exchange program, initiated among others by Grete and Jack Waitz, and financed by the Norwegian Consulate General in New York, to allow young runners to visit Norway and compete in the "Tine Stafett", an annual relay run, as well as the legendary Bislet Games.
