The Norwegian Seamen’s Church in New Orleans has a wide range of exiting events this fall. You can enjoy jazz concerts, Scandinavian eating and Christmas bazaar among others. The schedule last from September 2, 2007 - January 8, 2008.

Music schedule for the fall and early winter:

September 2. Jazz Service: Katja Toivola Trio at 11 a.m.

October 7. Jazz Service: Louis Ford Quartet at 11 a.m.

October 10. Concert: Cajun du Nord (Scandinavian Cajun band) at 7 p.m. ($5 admission)

October 21. Jazz Service followed by BBQ in the garden: New Orleans Jazz Vipers at
4 p.m. (suggested donation for food)

October 28. Jazz Service: Jan Inge Mlsaeter and Lars Edegran Duo at 11 a.m.

November 3. Christmas Bazaar: Lars Edegran (solo piano) noon-2 p.m.

November 4. Jazz Service: Detroit Brooks Quartet at 11 a.m.

November 8. Scandinavian Eating: Leif Pedersen and Friends 6-9 p.m.

December 2. Jazz Service: Singing of Christmas Carols (Big Al Carson and Lars Edegran Trio) at 5 p.m.

December 13. Scandinavian Eating: Tommy Seidel Trio 6-9 p.m.

December 16. Lucia Service, with Swedish music and activities at 5 p.m.

January 6. Jazz Service: Christian Winther Quartet at 11 a.m.

January 10. Scandinavian Eating: Live Music TBA 6-9 p.m.
