12noon: Lunch in the Delegates Dining room at the UN building.
1 pm: "Each country - themselves enough?" - The future role of UN in the world? Seminar in the UN building with Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Jan Egeland, Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative Mona Juul, President of International Peace Academy in New York, Terje Rød Larsen and writer and Philosopher Jostein Gaarder.
3 pm: Guided tour in the UN building.
5:30 pm: Reception at the terrace at the Belvadere Castle, Central Park. Culinary and unique tastes of Norway will be served.
7:30pm: "Peer Gynt" Dramatic Concert
The music is from Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt suite", with the American Symphony Orchestra. Scenes from Ibsen's play, with Svein Sturla Hungnes as Peer Gynt, professional actors, and amateurs from the outdoor scene at Gålå. Choir from Gudbrandsdalen.
9:30 pm: A guided walk through Central Park to The Arsenal.
10 pm: Norwegian Buffet Dinner at the Arsenal.
