Syttende Mai continues Sunday with a prelude concert, festival service, parade, food, a celebration of heritage and special string orchestra concert.

10:30 a.m. Prelude Concert -Featuring the local Norwegian male singing groups: Nordkapp and Norwegian Glee Club.

11:00 a.m. Syttende Mai Festival Service -Led by Pastor Per Inge Vik with guest preacher Jens Dale of Gjøvik, Norway. A parade follows the service. Starting at Mindekirken, the parade will meander through the neighborhood and return to the church where lunch will be available.

1:00 p.m. Celebration of Heritage-Activities and performances include: folk dance groups and Norwegian folk art demonstrations.

2:00 p.m. Vox Corda String Orchestra-Elizabeth Prielozny Barnes, Music Director presents: String Music from Norway, with Hardanger fiddler, Karen Torkelson Solgård. Featuring Folk music of Norway and the classical string orchestra music it has inspired.
