Consular Services
The Consulate General in New York provides consular services for the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. The Consulate General administers 7 Honorary Consulates/Consulates General under its jurisdiction. Please notice that Illionois is as of October 2007 serviced by the Consulate General of Minneapolis.

Culture and information
The Consulate General provides information on Norway to the public in the district, and facilitates cultural and educational exchange between the two countries.
