The Norwegian Consul General in San Francisco, Are-Jostein Norheim, will address the conference “on site” in Berkley, and also introduce a greeting from the director of the Norwegian Polar Institute, Jan-Gunnar Winther, video transmitted live from the WED host city of Tromsø, Norway.

The theme for this year’s World Environment Day is “Melting Ice – A Hot Topic?”
