5/24/2007 :: Erik Assadourian is a research associate at Worldwatch Institute. His areas of interest include the consumer society, corporate social responsibility, sustainable communities, global security, and cultural change.
Erik co-directed the annual Worldwatch publication, State of the World 2005: Rethinking Global Security, directed Vital Signs 2006-2007, and is currently directing Vital Signs 2007-2008. He is the author of many articles including most recently, “Transforming Corporations,” published in State of the World 2006, and “The Evolving Corporation,” a three-part series published in World Watch Magazine. He also co-authored “Rethinking the Good Life” and “The State of Consumption Today” for State of the World 2004: The Consumer Society. Erik is currently writing “Building Sustainable Communities,” a chapter for State of the World 2008.
