5/29/2007 :: Bill Mansfield was an Assistant Secretary General and the Deputy Executive Director of UNEP from 1986 to 1993, Director of UNEP’s Global Environment Facility Office in 1995, Vice President for Operations at the Worldwatch Institute 1996-7 and Special Advisor to the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation 2000-2. Earlier he served as a US State Department Foreign Service Officer in a variety of environmental assignments at the US State Department and Environmental Protection Agency. He lives in Bethesda, MD.
