Professor Fredric R. Jameson awarded Holberg Prize 2008

9/16/2008 :: Fredric R. Jameson, Professor at Duke University, has been awarded the Holberg Prize for his work on the relation between social formations and cultural forms. Grounded in literary studies, Jameson has made important contributions to cultural theory and cultural studies, hermeneutics, architectural and postcolonial theory, aesthetics, film and television studies, and history.
