Consulate General San Francisco

5/18/2009 :: 13 states are placed under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in San Francisco, and eight of these have their own local honorary consulate (Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming are without one, and the nearest contact for these is therefore the Consulate General). The honorary consulates are generally staffed with a representative from the local business community, whether it be a Norwegian or an American, and they execute functions such as general information and consular assistance.
