New Visa and Residence Permit Application Procedures, Fall 2015

10/13/2015 // Are you applying for a visa or residence permit to Norway? Please make note of the following changes:

Schengen Visa and Residence Permit applicants to Norway may book appointments with our partner Travisa/VFS Global in New York, San Francisco and Houston.

Applicants for a Schengen Visa to Iceland and Sweden, in San Francisco and Houston, will apply with Norway.

Applicants will as before, apply and pay the fee online at www.udi.no and select to submit the online application with New York. 

When this is completed applicants will log onto Travisa/VFS web site to book an appointment to submit documents and biometry.

To apply for a visa or residence permit, you must follow these steps in order:

1. Log onto www.udi.no to submit your application and pay the application fee.

2. Book an appointment with one of the five VFS Global / Travisa offices listed above. These five offices are the only locations in the U.S. at which you may apply for a visa or residence permit.

3. Go to your appointment to submit your documents and to have biometric readings taken. Remember to bring all documents listed in the online document list, and one passport photo.
