Permits for work, study, or residence

Foreign nationals who intend to stay in Norway beyond 90 days must apply for a permit.
The general requirement is that an application for a permit for work or study must be filed at the Embassy or Consulate General.
A permit is normally granted for one year at a time, and such permits are normally renewable.
