As of April 1, 2008, the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C. will handle all Schengen visa applications for Norway for the larger Washington, D.C. area, as well as from Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota (The Consulate General of Sweden in Los Angeles will handle all Norwegian and Swedish Schengen visa applications for the western U.S. region.) The Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco serves Northern California and some states (Click on link below for more information)
9/30/2008 :: The Norwegian General Consulates in Houston, Minnesota and New York will handle visa applications from their region as normal.
